The tools built to watch pages for you want the request in their language first: pick a piece of code on the page, set a threshold, choose a comparison mode. All to describe something you could say in one sentence.
NotifyMe takes the sentence. Tell it what you are waiting for, give it the page, say how often to look.
Silence is not the same as nothing changed.
Here is the part nobody else will copy. When one of these tools cannot read a page, because the site started blocking it or the layout moved, the others tell you nothing changed, since admitting a technical failure looks like a broken product. Quiet reads exactly like everything is fine. NotifyMe says it could not look, out loud, with its own status and its own alert.
