One box. No folders to pick. Nothing to file.
Every note app asks you a question at the worst possible moment. Which notebook, which tag, which folder. The thought arrives while you are walking, or mid-sentence in a meeting, and the app wants admin before it will take it.
The filing system is why the thought never got written down.
Second Brain takes the dump and does the sorting afterwards. You type, it saves. Later it reads what piled up, groups it by theme, and writes the tidy version into my Obsidian vault, where the thinking actually happens.
The look comes from a Pinterest board of deckle-edge paper, spiral notebooks and red wax seals, because a capture page that feels like a notebook gets used and one that feels like software does not.
In build, shown here honestly rather than dressed as finished. Questions or ideas: say hi.
